Teodora Stoicescu is a PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science at National University of Political Studies and Public Administration, where her doctoral research is fully funded. Her project examines how feminism and international jurisprudence are working in armed conflicts, with focus on sexual violence as a weapon of war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine and Armenia. Her research interests are in the fields of Feminist Theories, Sexual Violence during war and outside of war, Jurisprudence, Reconciliation, Transitional Justice and Humanitarian Aid. Teodora holds a BA in Political Science, specialising in Democrating Backsliding in Europe and the reality of post-democratic states, as well as a Master's degree in Security and Diplomacy at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration, specialising in war crimes against women during the Bosnian War and the international response. Teodora is interested in connecting with scholars interested in feminist theories, gender-based violence, sexual violence as a weapon of war, transitional justice, international jurisprudence, security studies, diplomacy and geostrategy.
