Sandra Cvikić holds a BA from the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada, an MA from the University of Sussex, Brighton, UK, and a PhD from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Croatian Studies. Since 2008, she has been employed at the Ivo Pilar Institute of Social Sciences, Regional Centre Vukovar, Croatia. Her academic interests include qualitative methodology, the sociology of knowledge and security, the sociology of war, communism/socialism, transitional justice, the sociology of migration, and digital transformation. Since 2026, she has been a Management Committee Member of COST Action CA24154 Networking European Security Knowledge, WG2: Transfer of Knowledge.
