Scientific fields of interest: critical security studies, national security, security policy, migration-security nexus, security discourse. Author or co-author of over 70 publications on different aspects related to security studies.
In the field of migration-security nexus, she employs a flexible approach that proposes more complex research, focusing not only on the perspective of the destination country (state/nation/social groups/individual) but also on the perspective of the country (nation) of origin and immigrants as individuals. This perspective has not been widely recognised in recent security studies. In Poland, she has already initiated the project and comparative research on the security perception of three waves of Ukrainian migrants (before 2014, 2014-2022, and after Feb. 24, 2022).
In the field of securitisation and critical security studies, she focuses on deepening the assessment and evaluation of securitisation processes at both the theoretical and empirical levels.
In the field of national security systems, she focuses on institutional cooperation and collaboration, as well as evaluating the efficiency of systemic solutions.
Member of the Polish Society of Security Studies, Polish Geopolitical Society and European Initiative for Security Studies – EISS.
