Dr Pınar Akgül

Pınar Akgül is an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Relations at Giresun University, Giresun/Türkiye. Akgül earned her PhD in International Relations from University of Sussex, Brighton/UK. She holds a BA degree in International Relations from Karadeniz Teknik University, Trabzon/Türkiye and MA degree in International Relations from King’s College London, London/UK. Her research area includes studies of the Black Sea Region. Her sub-concerns are non-Western IR theories and the impact of popular culture on world politics.
