I am an Assistant Professor of International Security at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Political Science. My research and teaching focus on international relations theory, critical security studies, European security, small states, and academic writing. In my PhD (2021), I examined identity-role construction in the foreign and security policies of small states at the UN, with a focus on Yugoslavia, Serbia, and Croatia. My recent work explores regional security cooperation in the Western Balkans and Eastern European candidacies for elected UN bodies. I led WP3 on Regional Security Initiatives within the MIND project (2022-2025) funded by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia and currently contribute to the Horizon Europe project Geo-Power-EU (2024-2027). Some of my articles have been published in Foreign Policy Analysis, Journal of Political Science Education, European Political Science, The Hague Journal of Diplomacy, Journal of International Relations and Development, Journal of Contemporary European Studies and Journal of Intervention and Statebuilding, including the chapters in edited volumes by Central European University Press, Routledge, and Springer. I am a member of ISA, ACUNS, EISA, ECPR, CEEISA, and EISS, co-editor of the Journal of Regional Security, and head of the Centre for International Security at the Faculty of Political Science (since 2026).
