Mr Jacob Grech

I am a PhD researcher in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. My research interests include international hierarchy, borders, geoeconomics, and emerging technologies. My doctoral project takes the concept of the periphery as a starting point to explore how small, formerly colonised countries navigate and narrate economic ruptures and transitions.
