Prof. Dr. Giray SADIK is Chair of the Department of International Relations and Director of the European Studies Research Center, both at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Türkiye. Previously, he was Eisenhower Fellow at NATO Defense College, Rome, Italy, and Swedish Institute Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Global Political Studies at Malmö University, Sweden. Prof. Sadik earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from the School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Georgia, USA. He has researched and published extensively on matters of foreign policy and strategy, hybrid threats, counterterrorism, border and maritime security with a focus on European security, transatlantic relations, Eurasian connectivity and security architectures.
