In 2015-2017 completed professional development programs on regional and international security at the George C. Marshall European Centre for Security Studies (Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany). In 2013-2023 served as a recurrent visiting expert with the Partnership for Peace Consortium of Defence Academies and Security Studies Institutes at the Austrian Ministry of Defence and Sports (Germany-Austria). In 2024 was awarded Ghent University’s EUREAST Platform Fellowship and was the EUREAST visiting fellow at the Institute for International and European Studies, Ghent University, Belgium. In 2008-2014 – recipient of the fellowship of the Academic Fellowship Programme, International Higher Education Support Programme and in 2011-2012 working group on frozen conflicts under the East-East Beyond Borders Program (EEBB), the Open Society Foundations (OSF) - Budapest, Hungary. Since 2023 =MC Member & WG4 Researcher at COST Action CA22121: New Rising Nationalisms, Shifting Geopolitics and the Future of European Higher Education. Research Openness (OPEN) (Brussels, Belgium) and is a Senior Research Fellow, Institute for National and International Security (Belgrade, Serbia); Since 2022 he briefs US students from various US HEIs under the SRAS - The School of Russian and Asian Studies, USA and Since 2017 he is a re-current visiting lecturer at various European universities under Erasmus+ ACM&PDP programs and lectured in Austria (2017; 2018; 2019; PoSIG 2023); Hungary (2023) and Finland (2024). Since 2017 he also serves as a member of the Academic Council. European Neighbourhood Council (ENC), Brussels, Belgium.
