Daniela Mechkaroska is an Assistant Professor at the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle” in Ohrid, North Macedonia. Her academic and research interests include cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, cloud and edge systems, secure communication, coding theory, cryptography, and digital resilience. She is involved in university teaching, student supervision, research, and international academic cooperation. Her work focuses on the security and reliability of digital and cloud-connected systems, including AI-supported monitoring, IoT security, data integrity, and secure communication. She is particularly interested in interdisciplinary collaboration that connects emerging technologies with European security studies, institutional resilience, and trustworthy digital transformation.
