Dr Alin Barbantan

Researcher in contemporary history and international relations, focusing on Euro-Atlantic diplomacy, US foreign policy, and Indo-Pacific strategic culture. My work examines how strategic culture and alliance networks shape the behavior of states across regions, with particular interest in comparative perspectives within the Euro-Atlantic and Indo-Pacific areas. I hold a PhD in International Relations from University College London and have published research on alliance systems, strategic alignment, and regional security frameworks. I am particularly interested in collaborations, visiting research positions, and interdisciplinary projects on strategic culture and alliance systems.
